It's Move-in Day!

Today all of the staff assembled at 8am after breakfast to organize the campus. The new students began arriving around 10am and by the afternoon campus was in full swing. Staff were placed throughout campus to help with registration, driving directions, parking, ID pictures, greeting, moving in, and any confusion. Once most of our students were getting settled, Jon and I practiced music for a little while. In the evening, there was an all-campus Welcome BBQ were new students, staff, and faculty had a chance to meet one another. That night we had a meeting in the West Street Theater so that the students could meet and learn about the staff and the RAs. Later after that, all of the RAs had floor meetings with the students of their respective dorms. It was great to get to know the new students and answer their questions. Even though some of them are a little nervous to be at camp and away from home for the first time, all of them seem very excited for the musical, social, and personal adventures that await them! After the meeting, it was bedtime.

Tomorrow is Day 1 for the BUTI Workshops!
